Developments

Before any modification of the code, read this: Good practice for dev.

The development version of TIPS is on the SVN trunk.

The developments are spitted in two category:
  1. the improvement of the instrument simulation (aXeSIM)
  2. the integration to the EUCLID pipeline (TIPS).

Instrument simulation

In TIPS, the instrument simulation is perfomed by aXeSIM (Kuemmel et al. 2007 and 2009, aXeSIM web page).
The aXeSIM used is a modified version of the official aXeSIM1.2. and do not need anymore PyRAF/IRAF.
The PyRAF/IRAF calls were replace with numpy/scipy code.

We use a dedicated branche for the aXeSIM development.
