Description

I cannot get the Function version of Spectral Resolution to work. Using a Fixed Delta Lambda works fine and produces results as expected, but with Function I only get one data point at the first wavelength range point with all flux in it. This is even true if I have a Function that has constant values at the same level as I used for the Fixed Delta Lambda option. Changing the resolution in the file changes the calculation time and total S/N level, but still plots only one point, not a spectrum. The plot of the Spectral Resolution Function looks like expected.

Failed to reproduce the problem (single point instead of spectrum when using the function option). However the label "function" was misleading, as this function represents the resolving power (per pixel) and not the Delta Lambda (per pixel). To make things clear I changed the label to "Resolving Power". The same was done for the spectral resolution result. This change will be available in the next version of ETC-42 (0.5.0). I leave the bug as "In Progress" and set its priority as "Low" until a confirmation that the problem is because of wrong interpretation of the input.
